About TBC

The Thai-Bangladeshi Community (TBC) is a nonpolitical, nonprofit social organisation for Bangladeshis all over Thailand, registered as Regd. No. 11/2552.

Our story

Bangladeshis began making Thailand their home in the 1980s, and the community grew steadily across the country. In 2009, businessman Mr. Jahangir Hossain, together with a group of senior Bangladeshi expatriates, proposed bringing everyone together on one platform as one extended family. That effort became TBC — one of the first registered Bangladeshi social organisations in Thailand.

What we stand for

• Stand beside every Bangladeshi in Thailand — life abroad can feel empty; TBC tries to be a parent, a brother and a friend.
• Show Bangladesh to the world — our culture, festivals and national days.
• Build the bridge — friendship and ties between Bangladesh and Thailand.
• Back entrepreneurs — support Bangladeshis who start and run businesses in Thailand.
